What is the difference between standard SSL and a dedicated SSL certificate?

An SSL certificate can only be issued for 1 domain name. If you visit your website without this package (for example: https://yourdomain.com), you may see various error messages, including warnings that the certificate does not match your domain. Due to these warnings, visitors may consider your site untrustworthy because there is no valid certificate present. Internet Explorer may even advise users not to visit the website.
