Shoutcast streaming is a technology based on MP3 that allows live audio streaming. A Shoutcast stream can be listened to with more than just Winamp. In addition to Winamp, you can download playlist files from our control panel for applications such as Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, QuickTime/iTunes, and RealPlayer.
The cost of a live stream is determined by the number of listeners and the bitrate (quality) at which the streams are delivered.

SimCity Stream
This stream broadcasts royalty-free music from the game SimCity using AutoDJ at a bitrate of 128 kbps.

With every streaming package, you receive full access to the Shoutcast Control Panel. Here you can see exactly how many listeners you have and who they are. You can also view logs, ban IP addresses, and more.
In addition to this control panel, IceHosting also allows you to customize your streaming server to your own preferences. We provide several extra features, including intro MP3 and backup MP3 uploads. You can also restart your server 24/7 through our control panel.
AutoDJ Panel
In addition to the control panel, we also provide an AutoDJ panel. In this panel, you can upload your music files to the streaming server. You can then create playlists through the system, and the server will automatically broadcast them. This means you no longer need to be live on air 24/7. For example, you can switch your stream to AutoDJ during the night, allowing your listeners to enjoy your radio station around the clock.
Music Licensing
We provide streams without music licenses from rights holders and/or artists. Obtaining the necessary licenses is your own responsibility. You may choose to stream royalty-free music, make direct agreements with artists, or purchase licenses through Buma/Stemra and/or Sena. A license from Buma/Stemra for an online radio station is available from €26 per month.
