DirectAdmin has introduced a new licensing model, which has also resulted in changes to its pricing. Previously, there were no limits on the number of users and domains. Under the new licensing model, however, these are now subject to certain limits. For example, the Standard package previously cost €5 per month, but this price has now increased to €29 per month.

DirectAdmin now offers the following options:

Personal Plus: 2 accounts and 20 domains for €5/month
Lite: 10 accounts and 50 domains for €14/month
Standard: Unlimited accounts and domains for €27.50/month

For more information, please visit the DirectAdmin website: https://www.directadmin.com/.

The old licensing model will remain operational and can still be used for the time being. However, it will eventually no longer be supported with the latest updates of MariaDB and Linux distributions.

This means that switching to the new licensing model is not immediately necessary, but it would be wise to start planning for the transition.
